David Cooke, FHG 341, passed away on July 20, 2026. He was raised in Kingston, attended KCVI and then Queen’s, and proudly served as a member of the Fort Henry Guard starting in 1957. After being called to the Ontario Bar, he moved to Kitchener and established himself as one of the region’s most respected criminal defence lawyers. He later served two terms as the MPP for Kitchener.
